Level of refinement

Every path begins with the same disciplined surface preparation. The difference is how far the edge, corner, joint, and grout work is carried.
Essential
Initial hand-grinder cut at the perimeter, with no added edge refinement. Joint filling can be added when useful to the space.
Refined
Edges are worked at every grind and polish step for a more uniform transition around the perimeter. Joint filling remains an available option.
Signature
Full Refined edge work, hand-detailed corners, joint filling, and two grout applications for Hâpax’s most resolved finish.
Repairs, grout filling, and color or dye can be incorporated where the slab and design call for them. Concrete retains natural variation; the existing slab helps determine the final character.
