A useful starting point
Color is selected with the piece—not apart from it.
These finishes are intended for Hâpax custom and precast work, including countertops, bars, tables, furniture, fireplaces, sinks, vanities, and architectural objects. Shape, scale, lighting, texture, sealer, and the surrounding room all affect how a color reads.
01 / Standard finish
A quieter, more even expression.
Standard finishes keep the field comparatively restrained while retaining the natural tonal movement and small variations that make cast concrete feel material rather than manufactured.
02 / Distressed finish
More movement. More hand-worked character.
Distressed finishes intentionally introduce broader variation, mottling, and surface character. The finished piece will share the sample's direction, not repeat it like a printed pattern.
Before final approval
Use the screen to narrow the direction.
Use a physical sample to decide.
Screens, ambient light, finish technique, casting conditions, and handwork can all change perceived color. Digital samples are representative only. Hâpax prepares or confirms an appropriate physical sample for final project approval, and natural variation remains part of the finished material.
